FACILITY
A medical cannabis facility is more than just a building, it is the universe designed to nourish the healthy development of each medical cannabis plant. Our custom designed and state of the art environmental controls, lighting, and irrigation/fertigation systems maintain perfect growing conditions no matter the season outside. These systems do not stop at cultivation. Each processing department, whether for flower, concentrate, or edible, has been designed and equipped to deliver the highest quality medical products to Ohio’s patients.
THE CERTIFIED PROCESS
CULTIVATION
Great cultivation begins with great genetics. Certified’s journey started with a genetics hunt of over 100 strains in search of high quality flower. The hunt is not over though, Certified is committed to the continual enhancement of the strains and genetics we cultivate for the patients of Ohio.
FLOWER
Clean, therapeutic, and tasty flower is by design. We ensure the nutrients we use are organic and pest pressures are controlled biologically, not chemically. At the end of a grow cycle, each plant is flushed to ensure no residuals make it into your medicine. Each strain undergoes a series of testing throughout its growth cycle to ensure optimal cannabinoid and terpene expression at harvest.
EXTRACTION
The goal of extraction is to separate the cannabinoid and terpene profiles away from the biomass leaving only the therapeutic and flavoring components in a concentrate product. We take great care to ensure no residual or undesirable compounds make it into our products. This is done by extracting the material in a cryogenic state then putting the product through a sequence of filtration and refinement. Batch by batch, our extract products are designed with the same values as our flower - clean, therapeutic, and tasty.
DISTILLATION
Distillation is the next step in refinement used to produce the material in our cartridges. Our Low n’ Slow method of distillation produces a high potency distillate free of undesirable compounds that interfere with taste and cleanliness. Potency equals purity.
CULTIVATION
A third-generation family business, our home base originally served as an auto parts facility serving the local area. Turn to Present Day, and the facility has been retro-fitted with top-of-the-line equipment and spaces designed specifically for high-quality cannabis production.
PRECISE & PERSONAL FEEDING
Our state-of-the-line feeding system allows for precise control at all times. Our expert team have the ability to modify and customize the feeds necessary for each stage of the cannabis life cycle. Additionally, our use of beneficial IPM protocol allows us the control needed to remove any need for pesticides or PGRs.
AGNETIX LIGHTING
Utilizing brand-new LED Technology from Luxx Lighting, this state-of-the-art, double-tiered vegetative room accelerates the growth speed of our plants; as well as allowing us to cut down on growth in our flowering rooms. This allows us to rotate through our plants much more efficiently, and allowing us to harvest our flower much more frequently.
